Therapy that moves you toward emotional safety

Bill Reddy Counseling & Psychotherapy

Why is it so difficult for us to feel emotionally safe?

Why do we tend to use maladaptive or even dysfunctional strategies
to cope at work or at home?

Feel Emotionally Safe in All Aspects of Your Life.

I work with career professionals, adults, couples and teenagers who are experiencing difficulty in the office, at home or at school. If you’re life has been impacted by:

  • trauma
  • relationships issues
  • midlife anxiety
  • leaving home
  • relocation
  • job loss
  • grief
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • culture shock
  • significant life events including simply feeling stuck or at a loss
I will work with you to safely address your issues, so you can feel emotionally safe in all aspects of your life. I bring over 30 years of professional and personal development to my work with individuals, families, adolescents, and couples, and hold a safe, secure, non-judgmental space in which to explore emotions, behaviors, thoughts, and feelings.

My training as psychotherapist was in London, U.K., with the foundation of my therapy being grounded in a broad range of modalities including Jungian archetypal, depth psychology, and somatic work from both Europe and other cultures. My training also included an approach to trauma that integrates many aspects including neurobiology, attachment theory, and spirituality.

  • I trained, qualified and practiced as a psychotherapist in London at The Centre For Counseling and Psychotherapy Education.
  • I hold both the British Association of Counsellors and the (UK) Standing Conference for Psychotherapists qualifications.
  • I completed a research Masters Degree at DeMonteforte University on depth psychology and dreams.
  • I hold a counseling license in the State of Washington: MC 60728251
  • For many years I worked as an Executive Director, Chief Operations Officer, and Strategic Advisor in business, nonprofit and civic entities and was on the board of three nonprofits.
  • During my years working as a therapist in England, I gained substantial experience in understanding cultural adaptation, expatriation, culture shock, and multicultural relationships.
